Title: nub caps - Grown man Dolly sale - 8/31/14

Rules:

I may be a grown ass man, but I still love to play with my Dollies.

Sale goes live Sunday 8/31/14 at 1PM Pacific (http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/to?iso=20140831T13&p0=137&msg=nub+cap+sale).  Don't rely on the countdown timer for exact time as I will be going off of forum time. Forum time is a little off.


As always, thanks for your support.  You've helped me keep experimenting and playing.  You guys help me keep having fun with this.

Now onto the sale.

Jonah - Some of these have blemishes and I'm not 100% happy with them, so they're going cheap.  They still look good, just I keep high standards for myself.

Hearts - these are some of my favorites to play around with.  They're oversized and ridiculous, but I love them.

These are an appoximation of the toxic coloring based on pictures I've seen (hence the name, since the color is a question in my mind).  Badwrench has seen them in person, so he can tell you that they look a little more green in person and really are hard to capture well. The hearts photo is the one that's the closest to them.

The prices on the Toxic Question caps is a little higher because there was a fair amount of waste in producing them and figuring out the coloration.

Freebies: All Deckersons are freebies because it's a little too wide and doesn't play well with some caps (though play fine with some others).  I am fixing it and making it a little more friendly to all caps.

As stated in the rules, these will be tossed randomly into orders at my own discretion.  Asking for one won't mean that you'll get it.

Thanks man.  I know I had a better name than Bozo, but forgot.  Isn't it as awful as I told you.

And part of the proceeds of the sale will be going to buying SP color rings that will become "community" property.  I'll give more information on that later.

These are look great, really excited for the sale tomorrow - Dolly has really grown on me as one of my favorite designs! That pink on black Deckerson is so damn cool (I've been on a real pink kick recently) as is that subdued blue/white molted looking one :thumb: Great looking work as usual, and good luck everyone!

I've spent the last hour looking at all of the Dollies trying to decide how I want to rank them.. they're so good!  I can't get over the purple one tho.. how broken is the stem compared to the broken stem Scully you sent me?  He sits on his switch just fine =)

I've already convinced myself which ones I wanted but for some reason my mind keeps changing. I just have to forcefully tell myself not to change though there are so many options to pick from here.

Taking a break to play some computer games.  I've invoiced all but 4 people and I'm waiting on 4 to pay. All those that paid today will be at the post office tomorrow and those that don't pay until Monday afternoon will ship next Saturday.

Everyone is getting a freebie or two with this sale and most of the CONUS orders got a discount as well.

It does work that way mate. If you know Nuubinator at all you will also realize he doesn't do it for the money. He once did a sale that required the inners to pay by donating to charity instead and he only took pp in order to cover shipping costs.

Yes! Finally nub's caps have crossed the big blue and have arrived down under :D. Very happy of the quality of my very first artisan caps. Although the hearts were a bit more yellow than the pictures showed, I ended up liking this very much. Also thanks for the freebie deckerson, I think it's great - for some reason they remind me of the pokemon tangela (https://www.google.com.au/search?q=tangrowth&espv=2&biw=1680&bih=882&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=eZEWVJqcBMbCiQKv8oD4AQ&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ). One thing I've noticed is that pictures of artisan caps don't do it justice and was amazed by the quality of these. Can't wait for your future sales nub ^_^ especially those heart caps.
