This is why we need a keyboard of the month contest on GH (http://www.overclock.net/t/1505462/keyboard-of-the-month-august-14).  It's sad when a board with two sets of stock caps and some LEDs installed is beating out something like Entry 2 (or even Entry 4) that has more impressive work.

What makes this keyboard is the quality of the photography, but still this has to be one of the best boards of the year... maybe we should do one better and do a keyboard of the year comp??? Given that peoples boards tend to change so often...

I'd vote for HPE's keyboard(the dark aluminum filco) if I were taking part in that poll. I'm shocked a stock poker with 50/50 keycaps is running away with the voting.

I think we should definitely make this a thing. But make a rule where one board can't be voted in more than once.

The Mk2 Golf Owners Club does this as well, and posts a picture on the front page of the car of the month, we could do something like that at the top maybe. Maybe a link or something instead of a picture.

Thats SO awesome! :D Me and a couple friends made midwestmk2! I made a forum just like this one. (Using Simple Machines) It was awesome. But we decided to close it down after a while..

 :'(  Why you gotta tease me?!  Thankfully there's a somewhat vibrant VW community near me, but it's mostly non-stock GTIs.  I pretty much just want a stock MK2 Golf.  Those are hard to find in decent condition around here.  :(

And that is why I am rarely on the OCN mech club page.  I am sure the owner of the 2-tone is proud of their board, but all of the others should be ahead of it. 


For KOTM to work here, it would definitely need to have subsections:

Don't worry, I have a Digilog case I can use in retaliation. No skull will be left unbroken until I have that HHKB case.

Look at those CMStorm logos on that! And the "Quickfire" spacebar seals the deal for me, that's gotta be keyboard of the DECADE!

But seriously, I think a KOTM would be nice. A little better than browsing the media section, cos you'll get to see a wider variety of interesting boards I reckon.
