Hello, just a few questions:
1) Do you guys prefer the swapping the two keys?
2) What is the best way to program the keys to be switched on any keyboard, let's say a Filco?
3) Full-size or stepped Control key (in Capslock location)
Also random: Why do you prefer stepped/non-stepped keys?
I've always enjoyed little layout edits like these, and would love to hear what the community has to say about their own preferences.

1) No, I just use keys wherever they are on the keyboard (Ctrl on HHKB, Caps Lock on most others).
2) Best way is a DIP switch - control at the hardware level!
3) Full size, probably, only because there are very few stepped centre-stemmed suitable keycaps anyway.

1) I do prefer swapping them.
2) That depends on your goal. If you wish to have it swapped indefinitely, you can get a custom controller for the Filco (as well as many other keyboards). If you don't want to do that, can't, won't, etc., there is always software to reach your goal.
3) If it's an option, I like stepped. It helps finger positioning. Though I think it's more along the lines of being out of the norm for most people.
