If you flip the space bar, why not flip the rest also?

No, nothing is so simple..
Some of the keys on the bottom row are accessed via _thumb_ such as =alt=, but most are not... like the windows key, or right control /left control
only keys that uses the thumb benefit from the flip, due to the flipped contour conforming to the angle of the thumb pointing upwards.
Hwood34 (http://geekhack.org/index.php?action=profile;u=31831) was right all along.
I do it with some of my spacebars.
I was doing it before hwood :(It's ok, I just do it cause it's trendy :p
I was doing it before hwood :(I remember, but you don't have your user title set to that, so I had to mention him.

I don't use the spacebar. I use the force.Show Image(https://home.comcast.net/~georgesaunders/Images/george_at_computer.jpeg)
Don't judge me. I like plaid. And pajamas are okay during the day too.
Also: did you guys know you can turn your wristwatch 180 degrees, so you view it palmside up? So kewl.
Welcome to the club Daerid!
For me, it depends on the spacebar. Topre and SP's DCS feel better to me flipped, but SP's SA and DSA are good normal orientation. Guess I'm saying that I don't like sculpted spacebars?
