Welcome and I hope you find what keyboard you are looking for.  I recently got my own and have been loving the browns.  Makes me wonder about the clears though.  :D

Welcome to geekhack. Funny, I used to drive through Madera quite often when I lived in California. It was my go to stop for gas and what have you.

Hope you enjoy your stay. Great people, ideas, suggestions. Just learn to exercise your willpower, lest you be homeless, living in a fort of keyboard boxes...

haha thanks.. Madera is such a small town though.. can't wait to be done with college so i can live in the bay area, the weather here drags.. but i have a question.. where do you go to shop for keyboards?

That depends on what it is exactly you're looking for. Mostly, you buy online.

elitekeyboards.com
mechanicalkeyboards.com
cmstore-usa.com
amazon.com

Among many others. If you have an idea of what you're interested in, I can try to point you to the right place.

Well if you know the form factor you want (ten key less) then that narrows it a bit. Then you want to work out if you want it backlit, what kind of switches you want, what you are using it for etc.

i do have an idea of what i'm looking for, i'm looking for a keyboard that doesn't have a 10-key, ranges in colors of pink, purple, white or black, it doesn't have to have a back light, but if it does that is bonus, also i want to have a nice clicking sound when i press down on the buttons.. plus i would like it to be blutooth connect.. i know its a really broad range lol

i'm just using it for everyday use, i know a regular keyboard will do, but i just really like having a personal keyboard that is special to me.. one that i call my own :)

Having bluetooth in a keyboard really cuts down your options, especially with backlighting as that drains the battery.

Your best bet would be to get, say, a Ducky Shine TKL with MX blues and backlighting of your choice of colour, and then a separate USB to bluetooth adaptor.
