Title: Recently Modded my Ducky 9008 How good are the Ebay Usb Cables
Post by: Owntrolf on Sat, 13 September 2014, 21:30:00

I modded my Ducky 9008 so that most of the LEDs on the edge are white.

Also I made a diffuser for the RGB LEDs by having 3 clear O rings on them and having a piece of white plastic over it

Currently I'm also planning to get a braided microusb cable but im not sure if the ones on Ebay are good or not

Depending on where you live, there are some great guys over in the marketplace who specialise in braided/sleeved cables.

Pexon is THE MAN in the UK/Europe. Zeal is your POC in Canada/NA. Elsewhere I'm not so sure. (Edit: And Mimic too)

I would trust either of these guys over anything on eBay, even if it will cost you a little more.

Is it also worth to clean off the rosin residue off the solder areas?
