Title: Poker problems
Post by: Skuloth on Sun, 14 September 2014, 11:26:31
I've been using the pn layer on my poker to have fn + E act as ctrl shift right effectively since I got the keyboard, and today I noticed that it no longer works. After some fiddling around I realized that I can still program into the 'E' key, but fn + e doesnt want to cooperate.

For instance I tried to program fn + e to be qwerty and when I press fn + e nothing happens, but if I hit pn + e I get qwerty. I thought it may have been a column based issue, but all my wasd + fn keys still produce arrows, so I have no idea what's going on.

Is it possible for a single fn + key combination to die? Any help would be great.

Well I figured it out and I'm an idiot. I have ctrl + right arrow bound to mumble mute self, and mumble was stealing the keystroke from my other windows so it looked like nothing was happening. I didn't notice mumble muting itself since I was already muted.

Also I was flustered, so I didn't remember to hit fn before programming into the e key, so I was programming the e itself not fn + e. Not my finest hour.

Hawkward.

Well, that was easy.

Gotta love it when you think you broke your keyboard and you're actually just incompetent :P
