Title: reliable source of d2f omron?

I find the ebay sellers kinda fishy,

especially the HK ones..

Anyone have good experience shopping for the jpn switches ,  sources ?

wow, didn't realize how expensive these things get.. LOL

$30 shipped for 11x switches  D2FF from Mouser..

I prefer cherry microswitches anyway. They are pin-compatible with the omron as a drop-in replacement. I harvest them all out of all the POS keyboards I get.

They have the same reliability figure as the omrons and I find them to be a bit more tactile. They also have the advantage of being less frequently stolen/forged/copied.

If you want to look up them, I can give you the part number.

I made the post 3:00 am...  ordered around afternoon...  that's a solid 9 hours patience..

the actual one i bought is D2F-F  it's half the actuation force of D2F

G80-11900, G80-8113 and MX8100 (G80-8109) have two each.
