Title: How "white" is the white Realforce keycap set?
Post by: Hyde on Tue, 23 September 2014, 22:47:27
I'm considering buying this:

Because to be honest I'm not a huge fan of the two tone grey the default Realforce keycap set has (yes I know people love it for the classic look but I'm a modern kind of guy).

But my I'm wonder if it will match the case color.  The "white" Realforce is actually more like beige similar to Filco.  The two tone is also more like beige and grey.

Has anyone bought this set before can confirm if this is more white or beige?

There are a few pics here (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=40658.msg808327#msg808327) of the blanks, looks like a pretty close match.

Sweet that's good to know !!!

Now I just have to decide when I can justify dropping $100 on keycaps just to have different color.  :P

Damn it why is Topre keycap set so expensive !  :(

Topre's white is more like an ivory white. Definitely looks greyish next to a white sheet of print/copy paper (bleached).
