Anyone have a model m or other keyboard that was made on a day signifigant to them? I've seen people who have ones near birthdays and such.
Mine was made on pi day, which I enjoy.

Man, if I could find one on my birthday, Jan 10. 1986....that'd be so awesome. I know some people have been lucky enough to get their birthdays, but it'd be interesting to see what other dates people have.

I hate to say this, but I once had an April 15 Model M.
Don't remember what year, but I thought about giving it to my brother (born April 15, 1959) but eventually sold it on ebay because I knew that he would never appreciate it or use it.

Hah, day after I make this thread I find one on ebay with my friend's birthday.
I know what they're getting for Christmas this year.

22/7 or 14/3 ?
I don't have any keyboards made on "special" dates. Well, I might, but all dates are pretty much the same to me so I don't usually notice.

In terms of sheer volume that's pretty amazing you had that date.

Oh, I don't know.
To get picky and technical, there is a 1:365.25 probability every time, and so if you have owned say 2 dozen Ms it means an almost 1 in 15 chance. Of course I don't remember the dates of any of the other ones that I have sold .....
Does anybody have a June 14, 1984 F-122 bottom pan to trade for a nice, clean, rust-free nicely painted pan of another date with your choice of interior padding plus an EPDM mat? I will pay both your shipping and mine.
