Lining up for a phone has to be one of the most idiotic things. And it's a Iphone at that, I'm sure it really brought so much to the table that it's worth standing outside for hours on end so you can throw money at them.

No, but if Apple puts the Western Electric model 302 into production and makes it out of titanium or chromoly steel I will think about geting one someday.

A lot of people lined up to buy the phone and then sell it in markets where the phone hasn't been released yet. The profit margin I heard was 100%. Line up for a few hours, buy 2 devices (maximum allowed per customer), and make around $2,000. Not bad.
