Title: Mogo says hi!
Post by: mogo on Fri, 26 September 2014, 17:43:55
Hello GH! I'm a chronic lurker, seeing much of the internet, and being seen by few. I was bitten by the mech KB bug about a year ago after touching my friend's brand new Das Keyboard. I loved the feel, but it was too noisy, and the keys were too lightweight for me. I owned, still own, and love my Logitech Wave keyboard, but I knew it was cumbersome and inconvenient to haul to the LAN parties I attend and run, so the 60% field drew me in immediately. About a month later I had my KBT Pure (Blue LED) with MX Whites. They're quieter, still clicky, and nice and resistant which feels nice for gaming and great for typing. But it's not enough. it will never be enough... :-X I'm now in the market for a full-size/tenkeyless to take over the daily driving, and GH seems to be the best place on the internet to go to get some help!

REALLY sorry about the multi-post. The forum was hanging whenever I hit the post button, not doing anything, and sometimes giving me a 504 error. Guess it was going through after all...  :-[

*quivers nervously, syrup glistening*
My wallet is bracing for the storm. I've been happy with my KBTPure with no modifications and very few keycap swaps, but the itch... the itch for something pretty... D:

Perhaps someone could point me in the right direction... I haven't found anywhere on this board where someone has offered review or even mention of owning a KBT ONE full-size. Where should I go to ask about it?

Hello fellow newcomer! Unfortunately, I cannot point you in the right direction regarding your keyboard needs. I am simply here to welcome you to the community since you did me the pleasure of welcoming me. So welcome.

Welcome to Geekhack!

You've done well to get a keyboard with MX whites - they are rather rare.

Also there have been some problems with the forum recently - lots of duplicate posts.

I've noticed that. Having something uncommon is really a large part of the appeal of all of this, isn't it? Something unique, something personal and awesome. It -might- be why I'm seriously considering buying the KBT ONE with tactile grey switches. I need my sampler to arrive before I do though. Boy, wallets are so hard to keep on a leash...  :))
