Title: [SOLD] Ergodox
Post by: geniekid on Sat, 27 September 2014, 11:23:54
SOLD

For Sale - an ErgoDox with MX Clears.  I assembled it myself and all keys/LEDs are working.  It uses alternating layers of stainless steel (including the switch plate) from AKmalamute's R2 and acrylic from the Massdrop kit.  Cherry plate mount stabs have been installed in the 4 2-u keys slots.

I think there's currently a Massdrop running and AKmalamute's running round 3 (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=63120.0) so if you're comfortable putting everything together yourself and waiting for both GBs to finish you should check pricing and do what makes sense for you.

PM'd.

At least I think I did. I can't tell if it went through.

Which version of AK Malamutes buy did you get?

Classic in stainless steel with full spacers.  Needless to say I have a lot of leftover spacers haha.  The decision to layer acrylic and steel was only made after I had received it all.

Anyway, the Ergodox has been sold.  I'm going to charge more to make lubed Ergo Clears next time - especially if desoldering LEDs is required.  Taking into the cost of the lube and springs, I pretty much just worked for 2 hours for $10.
