Title: Thoughts on the Vergo type.T MX/Alps compatible split custom?

Was browsing the Korean forums and randomly landed on these two pages. Found these two customs pretty interesting, since they use a SATA data connector to combine the two boards.

wow interesting!

We thought about what connector to use for the ergodox. Sata is as good as any I guess. There's lots of available cables and stuff. Note that they are absolutely not sending SATA or SAS data down that cable

I really like the lock light placement and the layout itself is pretty great. PCB appears to be of high quality, looks a lot like a GON with that ground plane.

Actually someone on reddit has made a mounting plate for alps switch on ergodox.

Zeal, for the 3rd party mx housings u mentioned probably are Gateron Switches if i'm not mistaken.

Yep those look like Gaterons, 1RMB each, not sure about the key feel though. Good for lighting effects.

Something new and mostly different. I like. Just when I thought I'd be done with new boards for a bit. I want this for some reason.

The 1rmb promotion ended very quickly, some ppl said the linear one feel smoother than cherry mx.
I can be wrong about this, since I didn't had a chance to grab and try them out.
The price gonna be 1.5rmb for the next restock i think.
