I've always had a slight dislike for Christmas. My birthday is on the 29th of December, so I've always been given one present for both which was always really annoying as a child. I suppose it's gotten better as I've got older because I get bigger and more expensive things :)

I love Christmas. I could care less about any other holiday, my birthday, whatever. Something about Christmas just makes me a happy mother****er who's totally enthused about life and everything it has to offer. I'm usually a dour and severe person in general but Christmas time is the exception. For all of December, I'm merry, cheerful, and smiling non-stop. Can't explain it but I sure as hell enjoy it.

Honestly, I can't think of a single holiday that hasn't become depressing over the years.

I went in 2007, and while for the most part it was great, having to listen to Flavor Flav talk about how his 4th grade kid was on the honor roll (like seriously, who the heck cares, it's elementary school) for 30 minutes, while Immortal Technique barely got 15 minutes of stage time was pretty awful.

Next year I think me and my gf are going to go to Open 'er in Poland. Faith no More, MGMT, Jack White, PEARL JAM, Rudimental and others played last years. It's going to be awesome.

I think it's just a social acceptance thing. I don't even like going out to clubs and getting pissed, yeah dancing is fun, but not when your ears ring for all the next day because the ****ty DJ was playing the same recycled top 40 hits so loud you had to shout in each other's ears just to try and communicate you were doing anything.
Give me a bar, some friends and some ciders any day. Srsly. Friends plz :(

Also, that area is beautiful! Swimming in the Adriatic sea is so cool. I would go back for that alone.
