Title: Dupont Teflon Silicone Lubricant for Springs?
Post by: DzyDzyDino on Wed, 01 October 2014, 04:07:24
Wondering if I need to go the extra mile for what seems to be the usual recommended Victorinox for the springs? I picked up a bottle of the Dupont Teflon stuff recently since it seemed like good all-purpose lube for cheap to use for whatever I may need to use it for. Thought I might save myself a few bucks, not that the Victorinox is that expensive -- but if anyone has any experience using this stuff on their springs, can they please enlighten me? Does it get the same effect that the Victorinox gives, or is it very different?

Thanks!
