Is there any mainstream source in the US for a Japanese MX spacebar? I could use shift keys, but a spacebar should be convex.
FYI, US left space is 2.25 U, right space is 2.75 U, and spacebars vary around the ~6-7 U. I think Japanese spacebars are around 2.5 U.

check SP's stock list, they might have something is DSA for you

Most JIS boards do use a shift key for space, unless it's a larger 4.x key like on Filco MJ or Ducky they don't tend to have the convex spacebar shape on under 3u. If the edge bothers you using a shift key just put it on upside down, problem solved.

Thanks for the info: it's surprising that such an advanced country lacks proper spacebars. Another alternative is to just cut down a normal spacebar.

Space isn't used the same way in Japanese, so it isn't really as important as other languages. I guess they just don't really care about it much and they needed to put all those IME keys in there.
