Really looking to get an SSK and this one is an alright price, but it seems a little fishy. It talks about it being modded, but doesn't talk about what he/she actually did to the board. Also says "some parts might not be the original."
Is it worth the risk? let me know because I really want an SSK. (or someone here could hook me up :p)

Ask for clarifications regarding the mods. It looks like the controller was replaced and the rivets were replaced with screws ("bolt-modded"). The latter is probably a benefit, the work on the former looks iffy.
EDIT: Oh wow, that's not an IBM controller. I personally wouldn't go for a board so extensively modded, but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't work just as well as an original.

A bit overpriced IMO.
A few have sold here on GH recently for sub $200, and you can definitely do better than that even on eBay if you're willing to wait a little bit.

I has a Keytronic controller in it, instead of the original IBM one. I wouldn't want it.

Sorry for the questions but: Does this make it worse that it has a keytronics controller? Will it change it in anyway?

Keytronic make foam and foil and rubber dome keyboards. There is no guarantee that this controller will work at all. If it does work, I would expect the matrix to be different and all the keys to be out of place. If you buy this, I would expect to have to do some work modding it to actually work again. You would need:
a genuine IBM controller or a teensy (I'd go teensy since half the work is done for you)
Then on top of that if you don't like the screw mod that was done, you will have to spend a lot of time bolt modding it
and on top of that, the keycaps on it aren't even that rare or expensive. So even ignoring all the above it's overpriced.

I agree, it's overpriced.
You can get one that's definitely working for less than this modified one that may need a new controller to work.

Overpriced.

Just wait a ltitle bit, you'll find one with the right controller and at a better price. You can find some BIN for $200, and even bidders don't go much over that

Does someone at deskthority have an SSK for sale?

Elecplus might still have some

Right now? I don't think so, but definitely follow the shark feeding.
Although, some interesting small keyboards are emerging these days.

I've been talking to her a lot on Deskthority, and have been searching the shark feeding. That's why I was surprised when you said there might be one there :)) I picked up a horrifically dirty keyboard with green alps and a model m, so hopefully those will be nice.
