Title: (ebay) Sanyo MBC-550 PC + Keyboard
Post by: mogo on Thu, 09 October 2014, 19:36:36

The metal frame on that keyboard alone is drool-worthy and very tempting to buy the whole shebang. Also, that enter key is AS BIG AS THE MOON! D:
It's hard to find any information on this board specifically, just the computer it came with. There's no alt key, but I'm sure if someone was a bad enough dude to take it in, they'd hack a way.

Should have fujitsu leaf springs. I think they are generation 3 but I don't know enough about fujitsu leaf springs to be sure. Metal case is indeed drool worthy. The MBC550 / 551 (and I think 580?) used the same keyboard and show up on eBay now and again.

Wow that's a purdy board!

Having experienced Sanyo's stuff from that era, I have an overwhelming feeling that the board is rock solid and built like a tank.
Def. not for those who want a wimpy board or prefers weak sauce.

My other sanyo board (MBC1000, which is actually much older) is even better.
