Title: Mold in keyboard
Post by: Jixr on Thu, 09 October 2014, 22:38:49
A OCN member sent me his keyboard to repair it, mx blues with many stuck keys on it, and it was obvious someone spilt soda on it.

Opened it up, found mold growing in it.
Ew....

I'd hit it with some vinegar and then rinse it off and call it good. If you remove the QFR controller you could probably put it in the dishwasher with no issue.

I can think of worse things to find in my keyboard than mold.

Reminds me of the post from a while back where a guy found a bunch of dead bugs in his Realforce  :))
