Hey..
Anyone here used both? I'm looking for a new cherry mx red kb...I'm using Filco kb's for years so i'm looking it to be similar quality :)
They are nearly same price but Leopold has PBT caps over kul's. Anyways, which one should i go with :) Oh, Leopold seems to have sound dampener on board also :P

KUL.

I would go with the KUL if for no other reason than the standard bottom row and spacebar arrangement. The non-standard bottom row found on pretty much all Leopold boards means it's much harder to locate compatible aftermarket key sets and more expensive even if you are lucky enough to find some.

"It depends." The PBT's on the FC750R are probably good enough for the mass majority of folks that they may never want to replace them. The only key you really need to look out for is the space bar.
Yea, Leopold were idiots for coming up with the crazy stem setups they produced but they were nice enough to think of all those users of previous boards to make compatible space bars in their PBT accessory set. Since these PBT sets hit ebay I rarely see FC200R's up for sale like they used to be; I wonder if it is correlated.

I'd go with the KUL.
