Hi guys
Finally registered an account for myself after about half a year of on and off lurking about the forums :D
Got my first mechanical keyboard the QuickFire TK about half a year or so ago too and have never looked back.
Stumbled upon Geekhack while looking for solutions to change the colors of my LEDs and bought a couple of plastic LEDs covers, my first step at personalizing my keyboard.
My next customization was a Dota 2 Keycap given to me by my friend.
I am currently looking to personalize my keyboard by painting the case red but have however met with a problem as I am unable to find an additional case to purchase ):
Would really appreciate it if anyone could point me towards purchasing a spare case :)
Hopefully I will get to learn a thing or two from you guys about keyboard modding.

Welcome to Geekhack!
The LED colour changers work best if you have white LEDs, otherwise you are limited as to what colours you can change them to.
eBay might be your best bet - and/or to see if you can find a broken keyboard and split the costs with someone - you get the case and the other person gets the switches. Arrangements like that can work out well for both parties :)

Thanks :D
Yup my LEDs are white in color :P
Ahhh, I thought the cases were sold by CM themselves but i couldn't find anything /:
I've seen another member have plenty of cases but I have no idea where they got theirs from O:
Guess I'll look around for a broken one hehe

There was a run on QuickFire Rapid cases, mainly because the original ones had what many considered to be too much branding, and the replacements were pretty much unbranded.
But I haven't heard of similar for the QuickFire TK.

Ohh ohk, thanks once again for the heads up :D I'll go snoop around for a broken one then :)
Thanks once again :D

When you do get started on the project, please post updates in Making CM Storm Cases Together Yay! (http://geekhack.org/index.php?board=152.0) area - we'd love to see how it turns out :)
