Title: Convex 1,25u keycap? (MX mount)
Post by: ksm123 on Mon, 13 October 2014, 05:29:45
Have anyone of you ever seen convex 1,25u keycap from spacebar/modifiers row?
How about convex DSA 1u keycap?

I Poland we are taught to press AltGr with right thumb (AltGr-o and AltGr-l are very common combinations). Convex AltGr would be easier on the thumb. Do you know which manufactures are able to produce it?

Even with their new price changes it wouldn't cost too much to get it 3D printed on Shapeways if it's just single key so that's an option if you can't find a manufacturer. Just design the key or get someone to do it for you.

Only seen them on Filco Minila. Someone makes them, but haven't seen them for sale separately.

I've actually recently been putting together some 3D models on my Shapeways shop for 1x1.25 keycaps (and some other sizes too).
Here's a flat top row 1 version http://shpws.me/wmcM
If you had a design in mind I could pretty easily put together a custom convex row 1 (spacebar row) version for you.
