I don't think the color's been decided yet. Both of those options are in the IC form so you can choose what you want or enter another color option, I believe.

Blanks & windowed keys have a minimum MOQ of 400 each to be produced. Don't ask me why for blanks, but that's how it is.

I think this would struggle to meet MOQ as well, the Olivetti set was one of the least popular sets Sherry sold. I remember there still being sets of them available long after he sold out of his first run of Dolch and Classic Beige.

I think otherwise. The set from Originative was selling slowly because it has a defect.

The Classic Beige had the same problem and they still sold out well before the Olivetti.I think it is because the Classic Beige Tab (BOW Double shot) is easy to find the replacement so people don't mind to get the defect one and replace the ridiculous Tab with the one they have.

hopefully, this gmk gb will have a symmetrical option for the ~` and |\ keys having the same color as the modifiers.
i find that the colour combination of N5 on L9 and U9 seems more vibrant and pleasing to the eyes compared to V4.
but maybe because i'm personally hoping for this to change to GMK Raindrop and N5 is the best colour option for that :p
also, the mods are going to be text or icon?
the following is my ideal modifier setup;-
- Icon mods - Tab, Capslock, Backspace, Enter, Winkey (Win8 :p :p :p)
- Icon and/or text mod - Shift
- Text mods - all the others

Because you only get a TKL set for 95$.
Ivan's GB for example includes a numpad, a Tsangan kit and full ISO support.
If you buy all these keys from Sherry you'll pay ~160$.

I think you're gonna have problems doing A profile in the main set. Some people will want B-profile 1.5 keys too, so you'd have to do :That's what I am thinking too, because included A profile in the main set would probably bring up the price a lot. HHKB will need:The bottom row of the HHKB is somewhat ambiguous due to the number of ways it can be configured via dip switches. I think as long as you have some semblance of a Tsangan kit people will deal.

Actually most people voted for original color and yes for A profile, but I will wait till this weekend or the next weekend to see the interest of it.
Adding A profile would be additional 19 keys(7 1.25x, 4 1.5x, 1 2x, 1 enter 6 1x for winkey, arrows, and .(del) ) Do you know how much would that increase the price?

I was also on the fence with 2B or CC for modifiers, but from the pictures I saw, I think it's 2B. Still hard to tell without having the real thing on hand.

Blah, I can't make up my mind. Hard to tell which keys are which, especially when the alphas seem to yellow overtime. Tsangan's pic makes it look like 3K+V4 and a mix of CC/2B :s
If you make set like how I did Dolch, the A profile stuff would only be maybe a few EUR more since you only 'need' 1 set of 1.5 mods... then you need the 6 (or 8 if you want 1x extras for winkeys) bottom row in A for the cursors and numpad. Only 1, 1.5 and 2 are available in A so anything else is a non issue.From the picture GMK just sent me, I think U9 is the closest color to the original one. L9 looks like the "warmest white" GMK offer, but not as "warm" as the original.
It's defineatly not CC since that is Dolch alphas color. 2B is a colder shade... I suppose you could go either way colder or warmer U9. 2M is definitely too cold, Olivetti doulbeshots alphas are much warmer 'white'. None of GMK stock colors are probably perfect, they don't have as large of palette as Cherry used to offer. So it's down to picking the best choice of what is available.
Just deducing from what Ivan said, I'm wondering if space bars only have one profile, and it's all the other keys that have the choice between A and B?As far as I know, space bars have only one profile. Only bottom row will have A or B profile. FYI, A profile bottom is the profile of OG Cherry dyesub, old Cherry doubleshot, BSP pbt. B profile is the profile of most modern keyboard.

Sure some overlap is OK from time to time. I'm mostly just meaning so there isn't 5 sets launching at once so none of them make MOQ. There are only so many members which have bank accounts big enough for that kind of madness. quick recap: when Feng's GB ends this month, Ivan's reverse beige and CtrlAlt's GMK Hyperfuse will start. then we have the currently ongoing Olivetti and Klaxon ICs, along with the unannounced set from CtrlAlt. not to mention the manly unicorn IC, or the guy who posted two Olivetti designs here last week (what happened to him anyway?)

Don't quote me on this, but I would imagine that Ctrl Alt's GMK Hyperfuse will likely have the required keys for HHKB layout so that is one for you to look out for.

Right now there are a little above 100 people filled out the interested form, and just like what LechnerDE said, I think many people don't fill in the interest form and don't check the interest checks forum often. This may have been asked before, but can someone educate me more on the A profile bottom row? Is there some merit to having a slightly
taller keycap? Also, did the recent GMK Dolch keyset have an A-Profile bottom row?

I wonder how much this chinese guy will charge for a set. If the markup isn't too bad, he chose text + icon legends and has all the necessary keys I am definitely interested.

After looking at the pictures comparing the Originative Olivetti (N5 blue) vs the new Chinese Olivetti (V4 blue), I'm going to say definitely go with the N5.Do you have real picture about Chinese Olivetti? I want compare.
N5 is a lighter blue, but it'll translate to a lot vibrant and beautiful looking set, since V4 is way too dark and therefore looks dull.
I have actual V4 and N5 keycaps infront me as well as GMK's colour ring, so I am not basing my thoughts off photos, but of actual keycaps.
Another reason would be to diversify from the Chinese GB, which isn't a bad thing.

Just like what I have said in the Green Mod Set before, I will run the Group Buy first, and if it doesn't meet the MOQ, I may run a gb of A profile bottom row, Insert, Delete, F5-F8, and PRT SC (if GMK can make this keyThey can make it).
Hey jonathanyu, do you think we could try to use a layout similar to Ctrlalt's offering? I think it offers the best balance between all the layouts. Also as an FYI I intend to support your version of the Olivetti, the other offering is just too overpriced and costs almost twice as much as other GMK buys. Remember people he is asking $180+ not including shipping...

None of these get produced. There are not many GMK group buys I can think of that are only for Chinese community. The only one (and a very recent one) is a reproduction of purple mod. And, of course, there is CMYW in China but I'm sure no one on GH cares. Most of the other GBs (LED cap, cyan set, etc) have already been proxied by feng.
