Post by: ComradeSniper on Fri, 17 October 2014, 20:11:03
I accept payments via Paypal (gift payment or goods + fees) & ship USPS Priority. Shipping is $18 unless otherwise noted. I can fit two keyboards in one box.

All sold currently.

I have a Zenith ZKB-2 w/ yellow linear complicated alps for sale. They aren't the smoothest yellow alps I've ever felt, but they're certainly not in bad shape either. Board is fully functional. It has an internal speaker that makes a "click" noise each time you press a key :)). One of the flip out feet is missing. It also needs a good cleaning. $30 + $18 shipping.

These are in good shape, but there are some scratches on the back and on the ridges above the function row. They work on modern PCs. I have a **** ton of these, like 25-30. $20 + shipping each

Cherry G80-11900LPMUS-2s:
More

These are in good shape, no real defects to speak of. There is some adhesive on the back of each one that is pretty troublesome to remove. They have MX blacks. The switches are definitely not vintage, they're not very smooth. I have 4 of these. $20 + shipping each (I can probably find a cheaper shipping solution for these than the flat rate box, haven't tried yet)

AEKII with damped cream alps. In decent shape, but the esc cap stem broke off in the switch. Very slight yellowing. No cable. $30 shipped.

Apple Desktop Bus Keyboard with orange alps. The keyboard itself is in okay shape, but the switches feel excellent. I'd keep this for myself if I was planning on building another alps custom. No cable. $40 shipped. SOLD

Not exactly sure what this thing is, seems like it was made by Strong Man. It has black alps which feel quite good as far as black alps go. The upper-right most keycap is missing. Has a USB connector. $35 shipped. SOLD

Tandy Enhanced Keyboard with Fujitsu Peerless switches. Feels absolutely terrible; very gritty, and the "2" and "3" keys don't work. AT connector. $18 shipped (just the cost of shipping).

Chicony KB-5981 with white Aristotle MX clones. Not awful, but not very good feeling either. Some of the switches have lost their click. PS/2 connector. $35 shipped.

IBM 1391401 Model M. Has some small marks that won't disappear despite my cleaning efforts. Otherwise, I can't hear any loose rivets inside and it feels very solid. Dated 03-16-90. Comes with an SDL to PS/2 cable. $60 shipped. Sold, but I have more, let me know if you're interested.

NMB RT8251C+ w/ black space invaders. Feels more gritty than ones I've had in the past. Pretty dirty--I couldn't be bothered to pull and clean the caps because of how difficult it is to pull the cap without also pulling the switch top, and those springs are way too easy to lose. AT Connector. $35 shipped.

Focus FK2001 with complicated white alps. The `~ keycap is missing and the bottom of the switch is broken off, I put a key from a different set on there (the color doesn't quite match) and I'll throw in a couple loose complicated white switches so you can repair it if you want. Missing the top cover. AT connector. $35 shipped.

4 IBM Wheelwriters, all in good shape. I have boxes that I can fit a whole one inside but shipping is probably really expensive. Still, if you want one we can work something out. Otherwise I'm just selling the caps. Let me know if there are any other parts you can use. $15 shipped.

Wang MEC-101S: Has doubleshots. Has linear green alps clones. They're unfortunately not anywhere near as smooth as linear complicated alps. The top row of the numpad has a few different complicated alps switches that I soldered in for fun while learning how to solder. $30 shipped Sold

Wang 725-3770-US: Has yellow alps on the lock keys and salmon alps everywhere else. I stole all the caps for my Kingsaver. This is actually a really well built board, but unfortunately it's probably only good for parts without the caps since the mod sizes are non-standard. $30 shipped Sold

BTC Foam & Foil Linear board: Has MX compatible caps. The springs will fit around a Topre stem (only realforce or leopold, not hhkb for some reason) to make one ridiculously heavy switch. Last I checked, adding a spring to a 55g topre switch made it somewhere in excess of 120g. Not practical at all but it's a fun novelty. $25 shipped Sold

Yeah, $50 is a low estimate assuming I could keep the weight under 4 lbs or so. It'd likely be more. Priority Mail International is really expensive!

I don't have an exact weight, but shipping would be around $35-$40, so probably $50-$55 shipped in all.

You guys, buy these 122s! At $20 they are worth it even if just for spare parts! But all it takes is a little elbow grease and you've got a nice board to scare people with.

I bought two. I restored & screw-modded one of them and I'm currently in the process of turning the other one into some kind of franken-saver thing, a 60% with 24+10 F-keys!

This is an absolute steal on a buckling spring keyboard.  It feels just the same as my IBM Model M (even if the keys and whatnot are of a different quality) and works fantastic with any computer right out of the box.  At $20, you can't go wrong because you can easily get your money back out of it if it's not for you and want to resell it.  Highly recommended.
