Title: Broken AT/XT Keyboard questions

I have an old keyboard that is AT/XT switchable from '88 presumably broken. LEDs flash on boot. I have tried it with PS/2 and USB. What I can't figure out is when in 'PC/XT' mode and 'Enhanced PC/XT' I can turn all of the lock keys on and off but nothing else. When in 'PC/AT' or 'Enhanced AT, PS/2' nothing at all works not even the LEDs (except the flash on boot). Anyone have any ideas of whats up?

i had to try a couple different converters before mine worked
