We have our ass planted on chairs and face the computer for a large part of our daily lives. For those without ergonomic chairs, do you guys invest in lumbar supports?
I've been suffering from degenerative disc disease and my back just can't take some of them chairs.
Heard that lumbar supports are pretty legit. Thoughts?

Lumbar support is important sure.. but sigh... I've come to accept that 12+ hours at the chair is no-bueno...

I have a chair that features it, but it isn't actually the reason I bought it (got it for its size).
Lumbar was actually proven to be ineffective and actually cause back problems because of the way it mis-shapes your spine by attempting to give your back a place to "sit".
Real back support is the opposite of what lumbar looks like, so instead of a bump up high the bump should be near the lower back.
