Not directly keyboard related but this is the subforum for talking about switches so...
Found this today while working in the shop, was restoring a Willys M38!

Conveniently broken shell (found it like this) for educational purposes on how the switch works :P But I wonder who made it?

Wew Cherry.
The wires before I cut them were connected to a female XLR connector. I'm guessing it was for the communications system, mic maybe? Switch could be for PTT o_o
Everything leads me back to GH.

I tend to just unconsciously do it while watching something (so in this case it was during league of lesbians watching china get rekt)
Sometimes it gets pretty bad (blood etc) but I don't really care

Sifo are you trying to say Cherry literally won the war for the United States?

I mean, I could hook it up to something and see. I think it should still work o_O

I'll restore for keyboards.
I think the truck was early 50s? I've forgotten. They're pretty neat though.

I've come across plenty of Alps switches at work, more so in older Japanese cars than in the VW/Audi I spend 95% of my days with though (but I have seen a few there too).

i always wonder about the different random switch designs a lot of these companies put out in the past
