Title: Happy Diwali
Post by: MOZ on Thu, 23 October 2014, 01:47:39
It's the festival of lights, without a doubt the biggest Hindu festival of the year and I'd like to share the joy with all of you.

Happy Diwali!

Let's post some backlit boards.

Lucky you! I am not religious, but my Sikh girlfriend loves to celebrate diwali! However due to midterms and labs, she doesn't get to much any more. It is a great holiday though!

Any day that gives you on off from work is a good day. I'm not religious at all, however I do like the festival/holiday for the good food, parties, firecrackers (I know they pollute, but a small amount isn't too bad)

In Thailand, one of the biggest festival is where you throw bucket of water at people, anyone in the public. Must be really interesting to watch :D

No, that's Holi, and not only dusty dye, but buckets and buckets of colored water. It's so much fun, that they started celebrating it at my school in Singapore (Which is an International School).

Happy Diwali!

Diwali means no alternate side parking on my street, so that's good for everyone!

That's all I know about it, though. Time to go learn!

We didn't get the full day off, but we did have a half day, so that's all good.  Any excuse to leave the office early is welcome.

Happy Diwali!
