What diameter of coreless paracord would be good for sleeving some USB cables? I bought some 1/8" and it's just too tight. Newb mistake I suppose.
Thoughts?

May want to ask tjcaustin.

I haven't come across 550 paracord that's any bigger than 1/8". I'm pretty sure it comes down to what size usb cable you use. I'm not sure what type of USB cable works best, but I've had good experiences sleeving old 30 pin ipod cables with paracord. It's a pretty good fit.

I'm just modding some cheap monoprice usb cables. I believe these are exactly 1/8" or 3.1mm in diameter. I'm thinking I need something just a little bigger... possible 650 paracord like this:

That's 5mm... hopefully it's not too loose.

I'd be interested in the results if you decide to try it out. I wasn't aware of paracords other than 550.
