Im thinking of doing this so the backlight looks even brighter like how they do it on the Razer Chroma

You could try spraying white PlastiDip on there with the switch stems masked off.

I've been wondering this - I don't trust my soldering skills to remove/replace the switches, and am a bit wary of painting the plate with the switches in situ. The current plan is to make a paper template using strips of paper taped together between all the switches, and then use that template to cut the vinyl to size. Worst that can happen is I waste a piece of vinyl. I can take potato pics of the progress if you like and let you know how it turns out.

PlastiDip isn't like spraypaint, though, you can peel it off / rub it off pretty easily. The vinyl would probably be more work, but I don't see any reason not to give it a try. Please post a pic if you do.

The vinyl I have is this really nice satin/matte finish metallic tho, so nothing I could find in plastidip.
