Should be complicated linear Futaba switches (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=49758.0) and should be a fun project for someone.

I got one of these for cheap on eBay, so I'll let everyone know with my efforts in converting it.

I suspect the PCB isn't worth much to the overall feel, so I'm honestly considering just direct wire.

Switches can be awesome or sorta meh. If they are "meh" you can lube them.
