If you want to be really fancy beyond the trackpoint, then there are Model M keyboards with trackballs (completely different from the trackpoint, but definitely something to consider)

If you want to be really fancy beyond the trackpoint, then there are Model M keyboards with trackballs (completely different from the trackpoint, but definitely something to consider)

They are the M5 series, featuring the M5-1 and M5-2. One has a trackball in the top right, the other near the arrowkeys. Unicomp made the top right trackball version for a while, and it seems to be much more common.

As far as the existence of such a keyboard; sethstorm converted his 122-key model F to have a trackpoint module. You can do the same.
