I am trying to decide whether I want the Infinity kit or the incoming V60. They are roughly the same price (I don't care about the stock caps on the V60) and I have the same choices of switch (matias clicky or quiet). I am only interested in them as Alps boards. I was planning on putting the Clicky whites from my Chicony 5161, but was thinking I might try the quiet Matias as all of my other keyboards are of the clicky variety (mx blues, mx whites, clicky simple white alps, and buckling spring).
Any thoughts out there. I need to decide today as the drop on the Infinity ends soon.

What are your use cases?

i'd go for infinity, more programmable and you can have a quiet kb for once :p

Infinity. However be sure to add the keycaps in your order, there is no many sources for alps caps.

I am leaning that way. I have never built my own board and would really like to learn. I probably won't get too much into the programming though.

General usage at home with some gaming mixed in.

Not worried about caps. I have a group buy about to start and another board to pull from as well. Also, I don't care for DSA profile.

Programming is always handy, when some special need comes up. If you have a safe source for caps then you'll be safe with the plate and PCB only.

My choice would Infinity due to the programming. Choosing your own layers entirely, that's what I was looking for. And you can try the quiet switches.
