I you could come up with a way to make these withstand some moderate amount of wear and tear, you would have a killer product.

Stick a Mandolin crystal inside and it should instantly become much more durable.

He is utterly grotesque, I love him. What's he made of?

That's a good compliment!.

For the face portion, alumnium foil core covered with masking tape and polymer clay (fimo classic mixed with pure glyrecrin, until it got to a chewing gum consistency so it could be threaded, made into blobs or also sheets) sculpted with dental tools and brushes, painted in layers with genesis heatset oils. The eyes are polished 4mm onyx beads with calcareous inclusions (white spots).

The body has ragged skin that's done with epoxy putty.

Now there are some techniques I've never come across - I didn't know polymer clay could be mixed with glycerin. I also have some genesis paints (from my sister's dabbling in reborn dolls, of all things). Ideas, ideas...
