Reasonable price on "new" Cherry RC80BM (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-Cherry-USB-Keyboard-RC80BM-Black-/111500964486?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item19f5f9b286). A fairly nice programmable matrix keyboard with plate MX blacks.

I am worried about the programming. The main reason I converted my G80-1650 with a soarer was because the programming was so bad.

Those key caps are interesting.

It's the same board, that one just has some multi switch POS keycap. These are much more recent, only since 2006 so I don't think the programming utility should be so frustrating as ancient 1650. I haven't used these though... I do think they are actually OEM by Tipro as well, which I think has decent programming utility that actually works on modern OS.

That explains the odd-shaped keycaps. I have some tipro ones so I knew I recognized them from somewhere. Thanks for the good info as always.
Anyway, looks like a great deal for anyone into matrix KBs.

as a user of these things (albeit 128 key), I can say they're fun to use. Being double sided PCBs, not fun to desolder though. Black switches really sux and you're probably stuck with them.
I've done my buying already so I won't be competing with anyone who wants one!
