Title: Your Favorite Mail Day
Post by: Lastpilot on Mon, 03 November 2014, 12:20:26
My favorite mail day so far was last January when I received my first desktop computer!

It was really cold and it was actually like 8PM, very dark, but the two mail guys gave me a huge box and it was like Christmas. I could finally use my KMAC on a nice computer, where I can do other things besides tiny design projects and forum surfing. It was my first day of PC gaming.

Do you guys have a favorite mail day?

Easily the same as yours. The day I got my PC was glorious. I spent the entire day getting everything together and assembling. Eventually, I found out my mobo had a bent pin in the memory controller section though...So I had to tear it apart and RMA that not long after, but it was still a fun day!

Yep, PC again. I opened the door only to see a massive pile of boxes. Spent the rest of my night in my bathroom assembling it (this was when I was super paranoid about static discharge and didn't want to do it on carprt) and it actually booted up and everything the first time

tbh the times when I've gotten a new PC... I just spent the day getting it setup how my old machine was.. and then installing Crysis to see how many frames I could run it at...

The best mail day for me was when I got in the post the book I had custom made for me and my SO's anniversary and despite the fact all the pics were taken with an iPhone 4, all the pics came out great in an A3 book. So that was pretty baller

I forget what processor it was, but it was already old, hence me having to reinstall XP on it lol. My dad bought it at best buy lol.

For me it would be when I got my college acceptance letter and when I get handwritten letters.

Any time I get anything keyboard related.

For me it would be when I got my college acceptance letter and when I get handwritten letters.

I'll write you handwritten letters bb

The day I received my bachelor's degree.

This was super anticlimactic for me, because I had already been working for a month, so it didn't mean much.  And it's still sitting in the envelope.  :|

I don't even know what my favourite was, I'll need some time to think.  :))   Any time I get things in the mail is really fun though, so there's that!
