They're not random. They're taking information from browsing history. Obviously you have children, perverts, peeping toms, and douchebags all going to your college. Either that, or this is your browsing history, and you're all these things.
I would not type any personal information into that thing at all. I would not stick anything into those USB ports.I would. Shut it down. insert read-only (many older usb drives had a read-only lock switch like SD cards) USB device like flashdrive or SD card, load up linux (to ram if you want to be all paranoid), do whatever.

My school used Solaris workstations to force us to learn Unix. I'm thankful for that, for so many reasons.Yeah i'm glad I got into Unix at an early age, it always comes in handy. Just yesterday I loaded up an Ubuntu live cd so I could dd clone my OSX drive to the SSD I just got.
