Title: Is it possible to make a keyboards repeat rate overlap multiple keys?
Post by: Cqxdwm on Tue, 04 November 2014, 10:50:49
I've discovered that you can increase the keyboard repeat rate beyond OS restrictions. I'm looking for a similar way make the keys continue to repeat even if you press down other keys?

Example: you hold down a and it starts repeating and if you tap any other key, the repeating stops. It's the cancellation that i want to get rid of.
Is it doable without running 3rd party programs?

I don't think that's possible because of the way keyboards use changes in voltage to signal a key press, based on my very limited knowledge.  Dorkvader could probably give you a much more technical answer.  It may depend on the firmware and/or controller.
