Almost positive they are cherry MX compatible, but I am sorta new to this. If some experts could give us the lowdown, that would be fantastic.

They are MX compatible. G81 are MY switches whose caps will fit on MX stems. Only problem? The L means the caps are lasered. So the caps are lasered PBT. Fun fact, L on dark caps usually means the caps are POM.

Edited: NOT Lasered ABS

Ah ok. Thank you for the help. Are these still cosidered a "great find" or are they pretty much worthless?

Depends if you're ok with lasered ABS. FWIW, I paid this price for a full set of good condition Cherry doubleshot ABS. I consider doubleshots to be much better than lasered thin PBT caps.

Also I ****ed up before and put lasered ABS. They're lasered thin PBT Cherry caps. Not my favorite.

Well they are still better than most stock caps that come on mechs. Generally no they aren't any big deal and also are only mostly compatible as some caps are MY specific like the bottom row 1.25, usually space and caps lock won't be useable on most other brands boards either. Now, if you spot a set that have the deepdish FJ instead of the homing bars, those are worth spending upto $20 or so on. Nice thick sets with the decent smooth lasering.
