hi. i'm cannibalizing some older boards for a new project, and i have several of the same board all with identical revision number, etc... the only difference being some extra markings on the (pretty huge) SMD diodes.
they are all type 100-10L. with a circled 2 underneath. but a few have "D1" and others "D3" and on another set of boards i have the exact same part except it has "X1" and yet another has "B6"
what those mean?
i could find some weird data sheets for 100-10L and it is a rectifying zener, or so i hope :)

pretty sure the 100-10L device is a capacitor, not a zener diode. It's also labelled C108A and C109 on the silkscreen. I'm not seeing D1 or D3 anywhere (though D2 is a pretty huge diode on teh far right.
In general: D -> diode R -> resistor C-> capacitor X (sometimes Y) -> crystal oscillator L -> inductor J -> jack (sometimes pin or jumper)
I was able to stalk-down that guy's photobucket (http://s1234.photobucket.com/user/monkUsa/library/?sort=3&page=6) (this specific image is the last on page 5, you can see 2 more on p6) and find the device, an xk3y. still looking for better photos of the PCB.
on google images, I see at least three different revisions of the PCB as well as a not inconsiderable number of fakes and knockoffs. SOme of the best photos from here (http://www.modcontrol.com/Board/xbox-360-reviewcenter/34552-xk3y-x360key-xkey-review-english.html) show a different revision than youy have linked as well as what appears to be the same PCB but with green sodlermask and different component selection. Notice how the C108 and C109 SMD are now SMD metal can capacitors (which are much taller and probably a little cheaper)

^looks hand soldered. Is this a prototype?

just clarifying, mine is not like that on the picture. believe it or not, that was the closest i've found online for the part :)
mine is exactly the same, but the markings are:
100 - 10L
D1 (2)
or
100 - 10L
D3 (2)
and the board marks them on silk screen as:
- TC1
- TC2
- CM3
the boards i'm taking components out are all the same model, but one board has all D1s and another D3s. even if they are caps, i'm still curious about the difference now :D

The plot thickens! and also, it is not off-topic anymore :)
i got a couple days ago a keyboard for parts from massdrop to fix i though had a defect (it turned out to be just a design flaw)
but when comparing my board with the one in the beat up keyboard they sent as a replacement, i noticed the exact same parts!!! with the exact same difference!
now i'm double curious :D
i will try to upload pics soon. damn phones now come all without microSD cards. being a paranoid never made life so difficult to take pics out of a phone as nowadays

So, any ideas what the D1 and D3 markings mean?
the two keyboard boards are the same except for it.
look for example on the two pictures, the top right most component.
