WTF is this demon
-
I kinda want it.
-
It looks like someone shoved a keytronic rubber dome into an SSK shell
-
Hmm good point. Those keycaps look suspect. (IDK shiz about BS boards)

Note the Windows keys. This has to be a scam.

I asked Unicomp if they still had those enter keys, I wanted to put one on my SSK. Answer was no :-[. But there is something really dodgy about this thing. From the cut out SDL port with the wire just coming out loose to the extra keys that shouldn't be. Not to mention the Potato Photos.

I have had a couple of IBM typewriters, and it seems like there may have been a bigass Enter on one of them.
I will have to search for that jar of caps .....
Wait! The Model F AT has a bigass Enter, doesn't it?
-
It's obviously a modded piece of crap that someone is trying to sell for 100x its worth. The windows keys, the weird cable that is taking up the place of a rectangular SDL connector, the bigass enter. I propose we make an offer of $1 shipped just to see what is actually inside.

Right on both counts, however both the AT and the typewriters have the legend left justified on Enter.
This looks like a Keytronic (which does have "Enter" centered and same dimensions as an M key layout) assembly cut up and put into an SSK case.

My bigass typewriter has the primary legend (black) "C Rtn"
and secondary legend (blue) "Ind Clr"

...left justified, correct? We have seen a M once with a BAE that only had the single line legend, still left justified.

That would be good, i think it was originally a euro layout thing sorry i am not 100% with what this is called i think its ISO is it (they remind me of primary school computers)

so in theory you could cut down a unicomp 104, add an enter key from a wheelwriter and roll up the membrane to create this, but the ctrl keys on this are 1.25x, therefore too small. Plus the font is wrong, etc.
Check out the hole where the controller used to be!

Well, someone bought it.
-
Someone's probably going to be disappointed.

Nah, he's going to praise his SSK for being...
1) only slightly heavier than a normal keyboard
2) quieter than a normal buckling spring
3) having windows keys
4) not having a weird and outdated SDL cable connector
Anyone wants to buy my super silent Model M with 45g springs and winkeys? Smooth linear feel, can use Cherry MX keycaps. USB plug and play! I think I'll offer it for the price of $200.
