I got mine today, interesting board. The case is exactly the same as the RK-9000 case, plate seems thicker than the one in the 9000, Cherry stabs. PCB is dual layer but it does not have a piggy-back controller :/ Controller is a TMU3130 (http://www.tenx.com.tw/product_detail.aspx?ProductID=231) delivering full-speed USB (asking for 1ms poll rate.) LED brightness appears to be current controlled (or very high PWM speed), and the green and red colors are quite pleasant. Caps are painted and lasered translucent ABS w/ an "ok" feel and OEM profile. Overall a great entry level board, for $64 it actually quite a steal (IMHO) :)

Thanks for the good info on this. This is crucial for me One reason I never use backlighting on my lightsaver and other keyboards is because of unnecessarily low PWM rates giving me a headache. (also why I can't easily use most flatscreen monitors)
