So I am a huge fan of the NBA and I am starting this thread so we can discuss anything NBA/basketball related! I'm not sure what else to put in this first post but I guess I will figure that out later as this thread evolves.. if it ever does.

I'm not to up to speed on NBA stuff, but the Philadelphia 76ers make tanking look like an art form. No one does it better.

I guess Ill start by saying my favorite team is the OKC Thunder (THUNDERUP) along with the Golden State Warriors. People tell me I'm weird because I am a bay area native but I love the Thunder. But it is just because I am a huge Durant and Westbrook fan.

Maybe the lakers? But they aren't trying to tank haha. The 76ers are so sad... I feel for their fans... the managament told the fan base straight up that they were going to suck for the next 2 years.

Loyal to my local Wizards and the Suns (2k11 my player :p). Looks like it's gonna be a good year for both

The wizards look good John Wall has been a beast and you gotta love Gortat! Although it looks like the Rockets really have benefitted from that Ariza trade..
As for the suns... They look decent and they will definitely give some elite teams a run for their money but I just don't see them in the upper echelon of the West. I really do love watching Dragic play though.

Yeah, Wizards are definitely the only one that looks like a title contender. As for my favorite player, #12 TJ Hooker:

Clips haven't looked so sharp this season. Lakers on the other hand are a hot mess.
Check out this tweet about Kobe's performance so far.

Bulls fan here. I wish Derrick Rose would take off the necessary time to heal all his injuries. And stop getting injured. They look good, with or without him. Pau Gasol seems to be having a renaissance, and all the role players are doing well so far. Can't wait to see how the East shakes out. Looks like the Bullets, Raptors, Bulls, and Cavs will be fighting for the Finals berth.
The West seems wide open this year, though.

My brother is a hardcore bulls fan as well and honestly I can see him hold his breathe every time Rose hits the floor. The guy is crazy talented and I just hope Rose's health can keep improving. Rose's health I think is the X factor that could make or break the Bulls for chances at a ring.
As for Pau he hasn't looked this good in years. Being with the bulls is a great step for his career.
