A normal layout Cherry?
This should go fast... until someone notices that it's a G81... damn shame on the keycaps and the layout.
-
I hope nobody buys it at this price. It's not worth it. You can see it's shiny..

A G80-3000 HAU would be flying off the shelf I'm sure shiny doubleshot or not. It's only just a difference of one teeny weeny little digit... and the difference between Cherry MX clears and MY wet newspaper?
-
The caps would fetch $75 in the classifieds, even shiny. They just don't come up for sale that often. I think it's a fair price. If the GB materializes, though, things will be different.

True. I think you're right. There are people who would pay $75 for those caps. It's still a bad price though.

wow really? I had no idea cherry doubleshots were worth that much. I don't think I've paid more than $30 shipped for an entire MX board with doubleshots on it, and with all the "$20 used cherry doubleshot" sales there were I thought I'd never be able to get rid of them.
I guess everyone loves the stepped capslock and all mine are center stem full touch. c'est la vie.

Really? I could see $75 for brand new or barely used, but I usually see caps that shiny go for $50 and under

To make it clearer : I can see foolish people paying that much for that set ;)

Black Cherry doubleshots are much more plentiful, but I can't remember seeing a beige set for $30 since I joined GH. When they do come up, they are $75-100. If they're actually selling as low as $50, I have just missed seeing these sales.
Are you saying you have a bunch of beige doubleshots to unload? With fulltouch caps locks? I will buy all the sets you want to sell @ $30 ea.
anyway, the board sold, so someone else thought it was a good deal.
-
oh I gotcha its 'cause they're beige that they go for a premium.
mine're all black.

Why does the listing say "clicky". Seller just writing what he sees everyone else write I guess.

On eBay every keyboard is both "clicky" and "ibm".

Seems to be the case.
