Greetings.
I apologise if this is in the wrong forum. I also apologise if I say something stupid, I am only just starting out with keyboard anatomy and modding.
Hoping to get me a membrane keyboard with chiclet scissor switches and low profile keycaps. Just wondering if this kind of keyboard can have its keycaps modified? I see people talking about cherry switches this and mechanical that, but there doesnt seem to be as much talk about chiclet mods (that I have noticed).
Im wanting to make the tab and 1 2 3 4 keys stand out either visually or tactiley. Any suggestions or should I just get some hard wearing paint?

You could try a small drop of glue to give them an extra bump.

Messing with the internals of chiclet keyboards has been a little pet project of mine recently.
All I've managed to learn is that they really don't like being messed with. Those things are surprisingly precise.

With care you can remove and replace the keycaps, but it is a very delicate operation, easily botched.
I have not seen any replacement keycap sets for chicklet keyboard.
There are stickers can you get to stick over the top of the keycaps, but that's about it.

Hmm, looks like I need to invest in some good paint...
