Nah. Just hand-made laquered keycaps.
-
there was a gold limited edition of the HHKB. but i think that was never for sale.
but i think they cost like 10k. There was a photo of someone who had placed it on bare concrete to take a picture and everyone was flipping their ****.
also the caps on those things are really weird if i remember correct. they are like supple leather or something .

According to Deskthority it has traditional lacquer painted keycaps with gold dust sprinkled on top. Has a machined aluminum frame with laser engraved name and comes in a special box. Ultimate keyboard bling.

u know something is wrong when a peripheral cost many times more than the computer its connected to

How about most expensive one that wasn’t just a blinged out status symbol for people with more money than sense?

Or maybe (at least back when it was still useful)

Or not quite as expensive as those two, but certainly the most exquisite:

(There’s one of these on eBay right now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201223857950)

And still managed to be extremely ugly.

Yeah, I was going with the 9400A as I don't believe it was every available as a standalone keyboard, and the BVE9400 was an expensive video editing unit when it came out.
