I'm looking for something in Classic Beige to match the BSP Classic Beige set. Anyone have an ideas for where I should be looking?
(It seems the only choice I have for spacebar would be to find a Cherry Profile GMK 7u spacebar) but I'm stumped as to where to find a 1.75u Right Shift.

BSP is only 7u spacebars IIRC

I just ordered from Originative (fingers crossed) and the set doesn't include the spacebar

That for 7x ABS, or, get 7x PBT from Compaq MX11800.
As far as I know there is no 1.75x PBT right shift. You'll need a DS ABS one from a G8*-1800. Alternatively, get ahold of an RGB pack.

You can find 1.75 PBT shift keys on G81-1800 boards. They are lasered, but it's better than nothing. They were easy to find on ebay at one point (I currently use one on my sprit MX-mini with a g80 pbt set with an ABS 7u space from a beige set since the 7u space that came with my pbt set had melted stems somehow). You could get lucky on taobao.com (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.15.YulkqR&id=16620743597&ns=1&abbucket=11#detail (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.15.YulkqR&id=16620743597&ns=1&abbucket=11#detail) notice the 1.75 shift on the left instead of the right side, and it's an ABS set), but that's a crap shoot.

in my opinion, lasered caps look like ass next to dyesubs and doubleshots, but to each his own.

I like the uniform feel of the caps on the board, but yeah, they could look better. It amuses me to have it looking beat up i suppose, given that it's in a keycool case with un-uniform looking keys.

As blighty suggests 1800 with lasered PBTs, it's pretty much the only option if you want something that is going to be the same material and more or less the same shade of beige in Cherry profile. Cherry boards with PBT winkeyless is pretty much the only place to get Cherry profile PBT 7x spacebar as well.

Are those the point of sales boards?

Just an update:
My Otaku Classic Beige shipped this morning from Originative!
Also, picked up a Brand New in Box Cherry G81-1800 in Two-Tone Beige/Grey (Winkeyless version with 7u Spacebar and 1.75u Right shift).
Can't wait to get these in the mail!!!

Wait a moment, did you check with the experts if a G81 board shift and spacebar can fit? Isn't it an oft repeated wisdom that MY boards (G81s) have weirdly placed stabilizers and only 1u keys are compatible?

We'll see when the board gets here! I only need 2 keys from the board (the 7u Spacebar and the 1.75u Right Shift) so if the stabilizers aren't right, I can just harvest stems from the keys that I don't need (maybe from my keyswitch tester caps) and use Blu-Tack to make them work :thumb:

Shouldn't be an issue... 1.75 isn't stabilized anyway and 7x with those inbuilt stab wire clips I've only seen once. Besides more recently made boards that have the inbuilt stab wire clips that can't work with Cherry stabilizers on MX, the only other issue is with 1.25 B row which are offset. Everything else is identical to MX.

Always hope you don't end up with those...
