Yeah if they can make an English layout ANSI version I'd totally jump on it.

They fixed the sculpted key issue.  If you look at regular HiPro you'll notice keys are super sculpted and angled which I find uncomfortable to use.

But this one they used same profile for all keys (kind of like tall DSA in a sense).


EDIT:  Nevermind I think it's still the same, sighhh......

Yes some of Topre models exclusively for Japan market,
like Leopold some models also exclusive for Korean market

Seems like they didn't need worldwide distributor, since the demand on their country really huge  :-X

You could try and see if you could somehow get those Japanese retailers to ship internationally. I'm just hoping they'll release an ANSI version to sell outside of Japan.

Ah, oh well. I had a feeling the chances were low anyway since it's a collab between Japanese companies. I would definitely buy a limited edition / anniversary Topre keyboard if any reach the US.

Most of the RFs that have been made in the past 5 years have been JIS.

They're a huge favorite among Japanese programmers.

I am unsurprised at the lack of an ANSI version.
