Could you fine experts suggest a keyboard with Cherry Blue Switches and swedish/finnish layout? I think that i could also live with blank keys, but layout should match the scandinavian one. After couple of days searching i could not find such an intrument. Any suggestions?

Actually i already have familiarized myself with Cherry Corp Keyboard ordering codes and know that the right model is G80-3000LSCXX, XX being se, fi or ee, but could not find a retailer. My hope was, that someone has already found something and could give some tips.

Cherry's G80-3000 is available in German and UK configurations with blue switches. As long as you ignore the labels on the keys, the key layout is the same (ISO) as the scandinavian one.

Welcome to geekhack!
It is crazy how many Finnish members we suddenly get here. Who is spreading the word of mechanical keyboards in Finland? :becky:
So far we had like three people asking pretty much the same question here. If I remember right there is no official Finnish/Swedish layout from Cherry for the G80-3000. The only way to get one would be a special order. So far the other members seem to have decided on rather buying a UK or German layout. These are pretty much is the same layout-wise.. just with different prints on the keycaps.

you could always just use a UK keyboard, it has the same layout with different markings.
With blank keycaps like in Das Keyboard you can't even tell the difference.
you can buy Das Keyboard from here http://www.getdigital.de/products/Das_Keyboard_III

I was one of those mad finnish hackers who were asking these questions couple of months ago :)
I was also looking for a keyboard with 105 keys and Cherry Blue switches. So the only reasonable alternative (cause of the shipping fees) was Das Keyboard III, which I bought from http://www.getdigital.de
I can highly recommend both the retailer and the keyboard.
PS. It seems that getDigital is out of stock of the 105 key variant of the keyboard. In the end of september there will be a new version of the "Das Keyboard". Unfortunately, the Euro version is out of stock until then

maybe it'll be a das tenkeyless.

September is right around the corner, too. I am surprised there has not been an anouncement/press release from Metadot. I would imagine one would be coming up soon.

Yeah, I wouldnt be surprised if the Das 4 was much more Filco like. At least they realized that they desperately need to replace their current model.

That might be it. They might just slap a Das logo on a blue Cherry 'board built to the Filco specs and call it a day. Knowing Metadot, though, they will probably have a custom case made like their current offering. I will bet you big money, though, that they use the same logic as what is in the Filco 'boards this time out.

Well, I was in Marketing the International Distributors were always the worst in keeping secrets. They'd whine if you didn't tell them early since they had to manage inventory. Then they'd leak it despite all kinds of threats. Best solution I came up with was lying to them. Marketing people are good a "exaggerations".
Basically, you were/are a professional liar, right?
